You did well to make use of the Tracking searches so soon. Most people are slow to realise how useful it can be. It depends, of course on using the Tracking (Search, Task, or Campaign) routines in the first place!

Thank you for your comment - this is something we have been looking into. It’s unwise to hit the X button to close a CONTACTfile session, because it means that everything has to close at once, and the order of closure is important for keeping your data in tune. This is why the End Session button is on the main menu. However, we recognise that users habitually do this, and so we are looking into ways of incorporating a safe closure wherever it is asked for. In version 4.3.7, I think you’ll find it improved somewhat, but it may not be perfect yet!

The Club add-on module is still in its initial development stages, and only a few selected clients are using it on a beta basis. We will consider including it in the next round of training.

What a fabulous idea! You have expressed a problem that happens to me, too, and it’s wonderful to have a solution suggested. You are right in that it will be quite a bit of work, but it will be worth it. It’s on the list for inclusion in version 4.4, which should be released in March 2010.

Many thanks for your nice comments. It’s always good to hear from our clients on the other side of the world! If you go to teh Setting Up section, and ask for Further Details, you’ll see you can enter “GST” instead of “VAT”. This will eventually feed through to the other forms, but it doesn’t yet. With the next minor upgrade, the work should be complete.
